A submission for a contest. I'm hoping it's a winner.. or a runner up. Not many things to work with, no color scheme (the movie is black and white). But I just kept with the basic theme of the movie and made a dramatically balance movie poster. Movie posters are suppose to be appealing and sell and catch peoples attention so I've got the title and BEST PICTURE right in the center.

EDIT:

it doesn't fit the requirements so this isn't going to win.. dang.. i wanted a year subscription :\

yah its awesome... that said the title being exactly centered may hurt it a little... nice feel though and it is very intising...

Thank you :) I didn't really think about the title being in the middle took away from the design, but now that I think about it, it threw off the composition of it.
